Explore the decks of QE2

Queen Elizabeth 2, affectionately known as QE2, boasted an innovative and highly functional deck plan that set her apart from her predecessors, the original “Queens.” Designed with versatility in mind, her layout allowed for seamless transitions between transatlantic voyages and leisurely cruising, adapting to different passenger needs and class configurations. Unlike earlier liners where public spaces were often distributed across multiple levels, QE2 consolidated many of her main public rooms on a few upper decks (Boat, Upper and Quarter Deck) offering expansive spaces, large windows, and a revolutionary “hotel turned top to bottom” concept, with most passenger rooms located below the public areas.
